The Cemtech plant has the capacity to produce 2 million tons of cement annually, meeting the growing demand across the region.
Over 2,500 direct and indirect jobs have been created in West Pokot, significantly boosting the local economy and transforming lives.
Our plant is strategically located at the Sebit Limestone Mines, with enough reserves to sustain production for over 50 years.
With our plant’s production, Kenya’s dependency on imported clinker has been reduced by 60%, strengthening local industry and lowering costs.
We are committed to sustainability, dedicating over 200 acres of land to green spaces and environmental conservation around our plant.

Clinker
Clinker is the key ingredient in the production of cement, formed by heating a mixture of limestone and other raw materials. At our West Pokot plant, we produce 6,000 metric tons of clinker daily, ensuring a steady supply to meet the demand for cement across the region. Our high-grade clinker is used to produce various types of cement, ensuring durability and strength in construction projects.
